Designed specifically for medical alarm monitoring.
ActiveAid attendants have been hired and trained to monitor Personal Response Systems through multi-day courses, which are the same training courses that most 911 dispatchers receives. All of our attendants are certified in CPR to qualify for the EMD course which enables the attendant to recognize life threatening emergencies, including cardio arrest, choking, heart attack, and stroke, and allow them to provide dispatch-specific emergency medical care instructions to subscribers waiting for an EMS response. ActiveAid EMD attendants are able to deliver an elevated level of care to subscribers with emergency medical needs that other response centers can’t or won’t provide.
ActiveAid research and development team has designed comprehensive software and equipment tailored for the ActiveAid products insuring reliability, improved speed and accuracy to be experienced by ActiveAid subscribers.
Flexible and customized.
Since medical history, special needs, and responder relationships are different for each subscriber, flexibility is needed in a Response Center. ActiveAid’s Response Center is designed to provide the flexibility subscribers and loved ones will need to maintain independence and peace of mind.
Customization of the monitoring service may include: the order in which responders should be called, which responders must be notified in case of an emergency, or transport ion to the hospital, notes on which responders have a key to the subscribers residence, whether or not emergency professionals (Fire Department, Police, or EMS) have permission to force entry into the home during questionable circumstances, and hidden key locations and/or lockbox codes. Special instructions may also be kept and maintained for the subscriber and each responder.
With ActiveAid Personal Emergency Response Systems, our subscribers are allowed the independence to live like they are used to, while providing family and friends with a peace of mind knowing their loved one is safe.
